Annual Day 2012-13 'Maati Ke Rang'

India International School, Celebrated its XI Annual Day with great zest and fervor. The celebrations were full of students and teachers' involvement. Students from standard I to XII (ICSE AND IGCSE) participated in the celebration. The occasion was presided over by Mr. Verappa Moily; Honorary Minister of Petroleum and Gas. The other dignitaries were I.P.S. Mr. Mirji and Mr. Rama Murthy (Chairman of CMR Group). Our Chairman Mr. M. Krishna and Principal Mrs. Alka Gupta addressed the audience. The formal program started at 4.00pm with lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries followed by prize distribution. The Cultural Program exhibited the theme of 'Maati Ke Rang' which showcased the vibrant colours of Indian Traditional & Folk Forms. The innovative spirits were high and dances like Dandiya Lavani with lezim, Kerala, Mohiniattam, Kashmiri, Kathakali, Yakshaguna, Puppet dance, Karagattam, Odyssy , Manipuri and many more were presented with graceful moves.

It was a nostalgic and enthralling experience to watch the heart throbbing performances by the students of IIS.
 
 

International School Award by British Council

We are extremely happy and proud to announce that IIS is privileged to receive the International Award for the 2nd Consecutive time.

This prestigious award is conferred by the British Council to mark the excellence of an institution in the academic arena. The focus is on global communication and constructive interaction with students of other countries. The project involved intensive research work wherein, the efforts of students, staff and parents were highly appreciated, ISA projects were incorporated as an integral part of the Curriculum. Students pledged to spread awareness on a global outlook. A detailed study on the behavioral similarities and differences among the students of various countries was done. The report was sequentially arranged in a form of Dossier with supporting pictures of the project and other essential documents. This project helped students arouse awareness of cultures across the world.
